Conjugation
This is where you'll practice conjugation, or converting verbs to different forms depending on the subject and tense. Whenever you add a verb to your Words list, we'll automatically add it to your Conjugation list as well, which will let you practice it on this page. The Conjugation list is separate from your main Words list, and it's also divided into To Learn, New, Familiar, and Learned so you can track how well you know each verb's conjugation. You can manage your Conjugation list on the Words page, although you probably won't need to.
You can also go to the Words page to add new tenses, which will then let you practice those tenses on this page.
We're officially changing our name from Pentecost Language Mastery to Tongue of Fire! The URL pentecostlanguagemastery.org will still work for a while, but our new permanent URL is tongueoffire.net. Please take a second to update your bookmarks with the new name and URL.
Also, we're excited to announce five new improvements to Tongue of Fire!
The first is an upgraded AI page that now offers prompts in your target language, a smarter grading algorithm, streamlined word lookup (just click a word to see its translation), an input for questions to the algorithm about its feedback, and more!
The second is a built-in curriculum, which contains more than 3,000 words ordered from basic to advanced and organized into "sets" that can all be added with a single click on the Words page.
The third is a revamped conjugation system that tracks your conjugation learning separately from your regular vocabulary, allows you to choose the tenses you know on the Words page (select type:"conjugation"), and comes with an aesthetically improved Conjugation page.
The fourth is a new Characters page that allows Chinese and Japanese learners to practice all Hanzi/Kanji characters in the words they're learning.
The fifth is a new Case page that allows Russian and Latin learners to practice declining nouns and adjectives in all forms based on case, gender, and plurality.
We hope you enjoy the new improvements to the AI, Words, Conjugation, Characters, and Case pages! More updates are coming soon. Happy learning!
